These beautiful Larimar stones are set in a simple sterling silver bezel and attached to french wire to create stunning earrings.  The size and teardrop shape make these earrings perfect for the office or casual wear.  Larimar is a rare stone mined only in the Dominican Republic where it was thought to be from the Lost City of Atlantis. It actually comes from a volcanic deposit on the island.  The discoverer of this stone named it for his daughter, Larissa, and mar meaning sea in Spanish.  The soft blue color looks like the waters of the Caribbean Sea.  Handmade in New Mexico by a Navajo artist.
